​You are eligible for 12 pre-authorized acupuncture treatments for motor vehicle accident (MVA) injury within 12 weeks of the date of the accident. ICBC will cover for care and treatment for drivers, passengers or pedestrians that have been injured in a MVA.

Beyond Care Clinic offers treatments from acupuncture,  to cupping to TDP lamp and more. Acupuncture is great for most injuries sustained from accidents. it is helpful to treat headaches, neck pain, back apin, numbness & tingling, fatigue, spasms, anxiety/PTSD, and insomnia.

For patients who are on existing claims for accidents which occurred before April 1, 2019. You must first get pre approval for treatments from your ICBC claims adjuster.

Supplementary Benefits

British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP)

QUALIFICATION

  •  To qualify for MSP Supplementary Benefits, family income must be less than $42,000 per year.

​

  • MSP will cover $23 per acupuncture treatment, up to a limit of 10 visits per year (with the 10 visit limit being shared by acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathy, chiropractic, physical therapy, and non-surgical podiatry).
