Hsu Tung has accumulated outpatient experiences of a variety of health concerns including sports and repetitive strain injuries, arthritis, frozen shoulder, sleep disorders, migraines, PMS and gynecological disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction and more. He is very familiar with all regular treatment modalities including Acupuncture, Cupping, Electrical Stimulation, Ear Seeds, Scalp Acupuncture, TDP heat lamp.

Mr. Hsu Tung Hou is a registered TCM practitioner and acupuncturist dedicated in working with his patients to obtain their health goals. He graduated from TCM program of PCU College of Holistic Medicine in Canada, and passed the pan-canadian licensed examination. Hsu Tung had been working in the hospital TCM dept. in Shenzhen, China on the outpatient practice program to strengthen the important outpatient experiences.  He started up the Beyond Care Clinic in mid 2020 in north surrey.

JINGPING ZHOU

Ms. Jingping Zhou is the registered acupuncturist. She graduated from Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine University in China. After graduation, she worked in hospitals with more than 27 years of experience of Gynecological disorder syndrome, and pain in neck, shoulder, elbow, knee injuries, and sports injuries. She worked with patients as partners in their health and knows the importance of patient rehabilitation education as a means to help facilitate well-rounded, active lifestyles. Jingping is also using acupuncture techniques to help with weight loss, and effectively alleviate metabolic indices and subcutaneous fat thickness at the abdomen in patients with metabolic syndrome and abdominal obesity.

Jingping is very passionate about combining her professional and complementary skill-set of acupuncture and other treatment modalities to help patients. She believes in establishing a treatment plan that will restore function and alleviate discomfort while maintaining wellness and preventing future disability.

​JESSICA â€‹NGUYEN

Jessica graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2019 and has been practicing RMT since 2020. She strives to tailor the treatment to patient needs, whether it be achieving optimal function or relaxation. She commits herself to empowering her patients by not only addressing their pain, but by also working with each client to educate and prevent dysfunction caused by musculoskeletal conditions.

Jessica hopes to encourage patients to have a better understanding and new-found knowledge in themselves, such that they can continually see progress and exceed even their own expectations. Jessica can speak English and Vietnamese fluently.

LISA CHEUNG

Our Registered Kinesiologist, Lisa Cheung, obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at the University of British Columbia and is a current member of the BCAK in good standing.

Lisa has experience working with a variety of client demographics ranging from youths to seniors. She specializes in injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents (ICBC) and work-related injuries (WCB). As a coach and athlete herself, Lisa works closely with recreational and varsity athletes to help them return to their optimal performance.

Lisa's goal is to improve the quality of life for her clients so that they can go back to doing what they love. She uses detailed assessments, education, and exercises to help clients achieve their goals with confidence.

Lisa is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

JAMES HUYNH

James graduated on the Dean’s Honour Roll from Simon Fraser University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree, concentrating in Active Health and Rehabilitation. James is now practicing as a Kinesiologist as a member of the BCAK. 

 

James has experience working with various populations, including youth, adults and neurodiverse children. He is an advocate for living an active and healthy lifestyle and loves to help people meet their goals. James’ goals are to restore movement, prevent injuries and strengthen the body to allow individuals to do what they love confidently. 

 

During his spare time, James can be found hanging out with his family and friends. He also enjoys training and learning about martial arts, working out, and playing sports as well as computer games.

 

James is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
